BPAK Internship

Presented here are several projects I've undertaken during my internship at BPAK. My time at BPAK has enabled me to develop and refine my packing design skills, immersing myself in the processes of design, development, and production for packaging.

I've conceptualized packaging solutions for notable clients like T-Mobile and Verizon translating these concepts into functional dielines for manufacturing and printing proofs. Operating the plotting machine and printer independently, I ensured the accuracy of these designs.

I have also played a role in BPAK's transition from a predominantly SIM card and Gift card packaging focus to a broader market encompassing box packaging. This shift granted me the creative freedom to design packaging for the BPAK website, serving both as a showcase of the company’s design capabilities and a visual aid for customers to better envision the versatility and applications of the Box PAKs.

(I will be updating this as the intership progresses)

I individually crafted each design for the Box PAKs featured on the BPAK website, carefully selecting box types and visual styles to showcase the capabilities of the team. BPAK aimed to exhibit versatility across various sectors like technology, beverages, beauty, and apparel, prompting me to curate designs representing these industries. The aim was to create designs that felt familiar so customers know at a glance what the boxes can be used for. All the box PAKs have been 3D rendered by myself to look like professional studio shots.

I constructed and rendered two 3D scenes one showing a sample of Box PAKs and another integrating the new Box PAKs with the existing Card PAKs. This presentation served to harmonize the company's expansion into box packaging while maintaining its core focus on SIM card and Gift Card packaging. Each box and card PAK was designed for a lifelike quality, resembling a professional studio shoot.

Verizon
Handset Sleeve Packaging Concept
I created the Verizon handset Box PAK following Verizon's brand guidelines. Assigned with the task of designing a Handset Box PAK for Verizon, I tailored it for their SIM Included Line of phone packages. After designing, I applied it to the dieline, printed it using a UV ink printer, and then precisely cut it using the plotter—all done in-house to thoroughly test and validate the design.

T-Mobile
Handset Sleeve Packaging Concept
Here is the T-Mobile iteration of the handset Box PAK, aligned with T-Mobile's brand guidelines. It's a clear example of how the concept adapts to the unique traits of each brand. Similar to the previous testing process, this version underwent proofing before being sent to T-Mobile. It's essential to note that these PAKs serve the purpose of capturing the client's interest and are not the final designs at this stage.

BPAK Socials
To generate excitement for BPAK's new sector launch, I was entrusted with creating promotional posts. I had creative freedom, so I chose to draw inspiration from the BPAK logo. I designed three initial posts featuring the BPAK box as a sort of mascot, which eventually bursts across the posts. This concept was followed by three more posts detailing the company's new venture into box packaging.

Box PAKs
Branded Concepts

I've created tailored Branded Box PAK concepts for diverse brands. These designs are more than just visual presentations; they're crafted to align with each brand's identity and values. The goal behind these designs is to offer compelling pitches that resonate with the brands they're intended for. They're aimed at showcasing how BPAK's services can seamlessly integrate with and enhance the essence of each brand. These concepts serve as practical demonstrations, illustrating the potential benefits and opportunities for collaboration between BPAK and each brand.

IZIPIZI
Eye glasses Box PAK

By customizing the Acadia Box PAK to suit the product's dimensions, I've incorporated IZIPIZI brand elements like their logo and fonts to brand this packaging. Opting for product-specific branding, I selected custom colors that harmonised with the style of their Glacier glasses.

Fish Soho London
Stone Fish Scultpting Clay Box PAK

Employing Fish's distinctive branding elements including typography, logos, colors, and effects, I've tailored this box specifically for their hair products, such as the sculpting clay. In a nod to Fish's origins and to maintain their playful design ethos, I recreated the storefront of the original barbershop, once an old fishmonger's shop. This design is featured on the box to offer additional context and further enrich the brand experience.
